BOOKING and PAYMENTS
It’s really easy! To book an apartment, just choose your destination, your dates and click “Search”. The available apartments will then appear – have a look and see which one you like the best and you can book and pay straight away with our secure platform.

We will email you all the details!
The booking is payable online with debit/credit card. You will be required to pay 25% of your reservation to confirm the booking. We will send you a confirmation once your booking has been confirmed.

Around 1 month before arrival, we will send you a message with a payment link for the remaining balance. This is also payable securely online with credit/debit card.

Please note, we don’t accept American Express, bank transfer or cash payments.
Due to high levels of fraud with bank transfers, we *do not* accept this method payment.

If you have been asked to pay by bank transfer, you may have been the victim of a fraud, and we urge you to report the matter.

For security we only take payment CREDIT CARD using our long-established and safe platform.
As it is the safest way to make a payment, we only accept online payments via our secure platform.
Sometimes banks block non-usual transactions for your own security, especially in different currencies. You may need to contact them and let them know you are trying to pay Magic Rentals. Alternatively, you may need to use a different card. If you keep on having difficulties let us know
Yes, it is the safest method. We use a 256-bit encrypted certificated system to process your details and then we automatically redirect the transaction to your bank. We do not store credit/debit card details and are fully PCI compliant.
We provide full invoice/receipt upon arrival, with all our company details and tax break-down.
We ask for a REFUNDABLE security deposit on arrival to cover any damage, normally this is a swipe of your credit card. Assuming there is no damage then this is returned to you shortly after departure. The amount is normally €200.
We take a €200 pre-authorization of your card on arrival and, when you leave, we check that everything is ok in the apartment and we release that authorization. Depending on the bank networks it can take up to 2 weeks for the pre-authorisation to be processed by your bank.
The final amount is always per apartment. We don't add sneaky extra fees!
Prices and availability vary on a daily basis - like flight tickets. In peak season prices will be high, during off-peak periods they will be cheaper. If you are flexible on your dates, get in touch and we can find you a special offer.
Yes, we welcome long-term bookings, we will offer you a special deal if you intend to stay more than one month. Please contact us with your requirements, including number of people and location.
When you book an apartment is confirmed just for you and no one else can book it. If you need to cancel, there are cancellation charges depending on how near to the arrival time that you cancel. We encourage all guests to take out travel insurance to protect against this.

Magic Rentals is a European company and many customers prefer to pay in Euros. If you click the currency button on the top right of the screen you can choose US dollars ($) or British pounds (£) for the approximate equivalent.
Depending on your credit card, you may be given the choice of paying in your local currency such as US Dollars instead of Euros (our default currency for payment). If so, you will be presented with an alternative amount in your own currency based on the exchange rate shown. If you wish to pay in your own currency simply click "Yes" and you will be charged the amount shown on the screen. Some people like this option as it gives them clarity over exactly what they will be charged from their account.
ARRIVAL, CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Once your payment is complete we will send you full arrival details including the exact address. We will agree a 60 minute period for your check-in during which one of our agents will be waiting for you in the apartment and will give you your keys. They will welcome you and show you how everything works.
All our apartments are in zone 1 central London. The location is shown on the Google map link that appears on the apartment description page, or on your payment link we send to you.

Please note, to protect current guests' privacy, we don't give exact apartment or building numbers until after your final payment has been processed and check-in arranged.
We'll send you the full details by email but when you arrive just ring the buzzer and your check in agent will be waiting for you in the apartment during at the arrival time. We send you the all the address details and local transport on email.
Normal check-in times are from 14.30 until 20.00. If you need to check-in earlier this may be possible depending on previous clients. An early check-in fee may be payable depending on the time. We will agree a 60 minute arrival window with you during which a staff member will be waiting for you. Please make sure you give yourself plenty of time to arrive at the apartment as flight delays and delays at immigration are common.
There is a £30 cash fee if you wish to check in outside the normal hours, during the weekend or in a bank holiday. Normal check-in hours are from 14.30 until 20.00. There is a £50 cash fee if you wish to check in between 11pm-1am to cover staff costs, or if you arrive outside of your agreed check-in time. Check-ins after 1am may only be available on request.
Early check-in will be possible if the previous guests have already vacated the apartment. Due to the nature of bookings, this can only be confirmed a few weeks before arrival. An additional fee is payable for early check-in, and we will confirm this upon request.
It's very straightforward - just leave the keys in the apartment and vacate by 10.30am on your departure day. Note, no agent will come to the apartment, our cleaners will arrive shortly after 10.30. You can therefore leave when you wish, for example if you have an early flight.
Check out time is 10.30am. If you require a late check-out please get in touch with us to check if it is possible. Late check-out fees may apply.
If you require a late check-out please advise us in advance and we will let you know whether or not it is possible. Late check-out fees may apply. If you need to extend your stay send us an email and we will check the availability.

If this isn’t possible, there is a left luggage place in almost every main train station in London. We recommend using www.left-baggage.co.uk

We can’t keep bags in the apartments as they need to be properly cleaned before/after the guests arrive.
London is a very busy city! We recommend public transport, it is far more convenient.

However, there are public car parks around all our apartments. You can check on one of the larger companies - www.ncp.co.uk - for some local options.
There are a variety of ways to get to zone 1, where are all our apartments are located. We usually recommend TRAIN and TUBE.
We will send you the address of the apartment several weeks before arrival so you can plan your arrival.
Please note, different groups of travellers can move at vastly different speeds, there is no "one size fits all" for expected travel times, so give yourself EXTRA TIME!

We provide fresh linen, towels and toiletries for your stay. Our apartments are fully cleaned and ready for you to use – just bring a toothbrush!
The apartment has everything you may need to enjoy your stay as if you where at home.

In each apartment we provide a local guide, in which we include the location of supermarkets, pharmacies, etc and how to use the facilities in the apartment.

We can arrange a cleaner to visit the apartment, it is available at an extra cost.
No, smoking is prohibited everywhere in the apartments. Extra cleaning charges (minimum £50) will be incurred if the apartment has been smoked in.
No, we only ask you to leave the apartment in a good state and without rubbish. After check-out cleaning is included on the price.
No, this service is included in the price.
Yes, you can place the rubbish bags in the street one of the collection days (the information is in the Apartment Guide) See the apartment guide to check the collection days at your street.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in any of the apartments.
Many of them are - but some are in traditional Victorian buildings without lifts or with lots of steps. Let us know your access requirements and we can advise you accordingly.
No, but we recommend the friendly guys at Vacation Boost. They deliver prams, baby-cots, strollers, wheelchairs, high-chairs etc to your apartment, have a look at www.vacationboost.com.
The power sockets in our apartments are the standard UK 3-pin 230V (here is a picture: http://electricaloutlet.org/type-g). We receive guests from all corners of the globe and so are unable to provide adapters for multiple nations - if needed there are plenty of places to buy adapters for your country near the apartments.

APARTMENT SURROUNDINGS
All our apartments are in safe areas in central London. As with any large city, we encourage guest to take sensible precautions, to keep the apartment locked at all times and to take valuable items with you.

Please note Magic Rentals will always contact you via email if we need to visit the apartment for whatever reason. If you are unsure about a visitor please contact us and do not let anyone in.
Your check in agent will let you know where these places are around the apartment. You also have all this information in the Apartment Guide we provide in all the apartments.
Our apartments are all close to tube stations and local transport. On each apartment description you will be able to see the local tube/metro stations.
Hyde Park is just minutes away from all our apartments, there you can hire a bike or even go horse-riding. Barclays Cycle Hire provides fixed prices and station points all around the city, so you can take the bike at one place and leave it in a different one.
Yes! There is plenty to do in London, as well as the rest of the UK.
